Today marks our last day as The Artists Formerly Known as BSC Glasgow FC and our first as Broomhill FC.
The club are delighted to reveal our new badge and branding ahead of the 2021/22 season and we are looking forward to building on the work we’ve been doing since our foundation in 2014.
Our new name is a commitment and a promise, that we will do everything in our power to return to our home in Glasgow and will continue to work to find suitable facilities for the club.
We’re not going to pretend that this will happen in minutes – we’ve been trying for five years! – the impact of the pandemic and general issues surrounding sporting facilities in Glasgow persist and won’t be solved at the drop of a hat, but we don’t plan to give up our dream just like that.
We’ve seen a lot of changes in the last couple of years, some good, some bad, and some downright weird. We’re looking forward to seeing what the next few years brings.
In the short term we are looking toward a rebuilding season in the Scottish Lowland League and a chance to work with our development coaches to put a competitive squad into the Scottish Lowland Development League for next season too. In the medium term we will be looking at ways to challenge for the Lowland League title.
In the long term? Well, it’s all about coming hame.
