David Gormley Becomes Broomhill Manager

We are delighted to announce that David Gormley has agreed a deal to become manager of Broomhill Football Club ahead of the opening fixture of the 2021/22 season.

As manager of Rossvale FC, David made a promising start to last season before it was curtailed by Covid and we look forward to him being able to take the next steps in his managerial career at the Indodrill Stadium. Of course we would like to take this opportunity to thank Rossvale for their help in making this deal happen.

As a striker at the likes of Ayr United, Alloa Athletic and Clyde, David brings a significant amount of SPFL experience along with a strong grounding in the non-league game in Scotland following spells with Kirkintilloch Rob Roy, Auchinleck Talbot and Pollok.

Board Statement: Managerial Position at Broomhill FC

Broomhill FC have decided that we will not be beginning the current Lowland League season with the current management team in place.

Although we had originally planned to rebuild under the direction of Martin Hardie in his first managerial role, it became clear that it was not going to work out for both parties and made the decision to part ways. We thank Martin and his team for their work.

We will announce a new managerial appointment soon who will be in a position to reconstruct the squad ahead of a consolidating season in the Scottish Lowland League.
